After revealing the release year of Skyblivion, the independent developers of this huge fan-made Skyrim expansion that recreates Oblivion publish a video demonstration with over four hours of unreleased gameplay scenes.
The titanic The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim mod introduces a completely new game map, inspired by the Daedric realms of Oblivion and the different regions that make up Cyrodiil. So it is a monumental project which does not simply aim to reconstruct the original experience of Oblivion, but tries to expand its playful and narrative perimeter with the addition of an infinite number of original elements.
The recording of the streaming for over four hours recently held by the authors of Skyblivion is the plastic representation of the ambitions nurtured by this team made up of amateur developers and programmers. Scrolling through the scenes of the new video we can admire the dungeons, the special missions, the unpublished subplots related to the lore of The Elder Scrolls and a tons of original weapons, armor and equipment.
The launch of this total conversion of Skyrim is expected “at the latest” in 2025. The expansion will be completely free and structured in a modular way: it will therefore be possible to download only some specific aspects of the mod, such as additional objects or new weapons.
