In an interview with polygon a spokesman for Legendary Entertainment announced that the sequel to Detective Pikachu will continue to be in “active development” located. The 27-year-old actor is still interested in the sequel – but already doubted that we will ever see it. The statement by Legendary Entertainment now gives at least some hope again. The two authors of the original – Benji Samit and Dan Hernandez – are currently not involved in any discussions, which they recently revealed in an interview. So Pokémon fans will have to be patient.
