Spotify is bringing an interesting innovation for its podcast producers and listeners.
Traditionally, podcasts are only produced in one language. However, many people don’t speak English, German,… well enough to understand them. This should now be remedied.
Translations in original voices
Spotify begins rolling out AI-powered translation. The translated podcasts should even be presented in the original voices.
The first translated episodes are being rolled out
At launch there are already a few translated episodes of popular podcasts. In the future, availability will be expanded and more translated podcasts will be offered.
