FC St. Pauli has its coaching team together. As the second division announced, Peter Nemeth will be the new assistant coach. The 50-year-old is assisting Fabian Hürzeler, who was promoted from interim to head coach just a few days ago. Nemeth worked most of his previous coaching career under Uwe Neuhaus as an assistant. Most recently, the Slovak worked for Arminia Bielefeld and Dynamo Dresden.

“For me it is crucial to have an assistant coach for our team with whom I can exchange ideas openly and constructively”says Hürzeler, “We had very good talks and I’m delighted that Peter chose us.” Nemeth is also looking forward to the task: “The FCSP is an exciting challenge, a club with a lot of potential. The talks with Fabian quickly convinced me.”
