We continue to enjoy stable conditions in New England, as was the case yesterday; however, the heat of the day in combination with residual moisture may cause some scattered showers in the afternoon, but they would be brief and with little accumulation. The greatest potential will be for sections of Massachusetts.
Temperatures will be between 80°F and 92°F, the warmest indoors. Meanwhile, we expect the potential for downpours and thunderstorms to increase starting Saturday.
