Valve has quietly introduced a new feature: Game Trials.
The first game to make use of it is Electronic Arts’ Dead Space Remake.
What does that mean for you?
These game trials give you the opportunity to try out a game for 90 minutes.
You can find the option on the Dead Space product page and you can click on “Play now”.
There you will also see the remaining time that you have available. It looks like you can try out a game in several sessions, for example.

The game trials are definitely an additional option to normal demos to let players test a full version for a certain period of time. Games that don’t usually lend themselves so much to a free weekend.
You can try Dead Space Remake for free for an hour and a half until May 29, 2023 on Steam. The promotion coincides with a 20 percent discount for the game.
