Half of the explanation is in the title, it’s a party game. So it’s about providing casual entertainment with a pinch of competition as simply as possible. Genre pioneers like Mario Party Superstars are well-known examples here.

What do players do in Party Animals? You compete against each other in arenas in the skin of an animal of your choice. Your opponents are the other animals and the physics engine. Because every action has consequences and so all opponents quickly find themselves in wild, funny chaos.
