Strange green liquid drips from ceiling at Miami Airport

On Thursday morning, a strange green liquid was reported spilled in one of the waiting rooms at Miami International Airport.

From the Instagram account Only in Dade Dade A video is shown showing a mysterious fluorescent green liquid, causing the alert of travelers who were passing through the facility this July 4th holiday.

Passengers who recorded the moment and posted it on social media said the spilled liquid looked like Nickelodeon slime.

However, airport officials clarified that what was running through the corridors was just water.

In the comments section of the aforementioned video, Miami Airport clarified that “crews were immediately dispatched to investigate, and cleanup efforts are underway, which are expected to be completed shortly.”

They also thanked the passengers in Concourse G for their patience and understanding.

The middle Local 10 News provided further details after interviewing spokesman Greg Chin, who said the water “is coming from the air conditioning system and is dyed green so that any leak, like the one that occurred Thursday morning caused by a broken pipe, can be traced back to its source.”
