According to the president, the work on the Nichupté Lagoon Bridge is estimated to be completed at the beginning of next year and would begin to operate during the month of March 2024.

It should be remembered that these four macro works add up to a historic investment of 8 thousand 806 million pesos that will benefit the inhabitants of the municipalities of Benito Juárez, Isla Mujeres, Puerto Morelos and Solidaridad; as well as the more than 20 million tourists that the area receives each year, generating 10,000 direct jobs and 41,000 indirect jobs, all in favor of thousands of families from Quintana Roo.
