Striking Distance today consists of several hundred employees, and in addition there are many extras who have contributed to the development of The Callisto Protocol. But when some of them recently looked through the end credits, they discovered that their names were missing.

We are then talking about personnel who worked for over a year on the project and who had leading roles at the studio, but who for various reasons quit before the launch in December. GamesIndustry have spoken to a number of these employees and here is what one had to say:

“I understand if a contractor does a small amount of work for a few months and is left off, but we’re talking full-time employees with over a year invested in the title, and had a hand in significant parts of the product. That’s where the surprise has come from for a lot of us.”

Striking Distance has not commented on the matter yet, but it goes without saying that those who have been involved in developing a game should be believed, or what do you say?
