WhatsApp has released the new beta for Android version 2.23.2.4. A small improvement is being prepared in the background: a shortcut for blocking users. However, this adjustment is not yet available.
Essentially, you could block other users/contacts directly from the chat list using the new shortcut. So you don’t have to open the conversation itself first. This would just be a small step towards more user-friendliness.
WABetaInfo has already captured the matter in a screenshot for you. Ultimately, you could block spam even faster or “say goodbye” to contacts more smoothly without looking at the last, possibly insulting, messages again. When this innovation will be rolled out by WhatsApp is currently still open.
