ARK: Survival of the Fittest is a multiplayer online survival arena (MOSA) game developed by Studio Wildcard. It is a spin-off of the popular survival game, ARK: Survival Evolved.
In Survival of the Fittest, players are placed in a shrinking arena with the objective of being the last person or team standing. The game includes a variety of creatures from the ARK universe, which players can tame and use to help them survive. Players must also gather resources, craft weapons and equipment, and build shelters to protect themselves from the harsh environment and other players.
Survival of the Fittest features both solo and team gameplay modes, with the ability to form alliances with other players. The game also includes a ranking system, with players earning points based on their performance in matches.
The game was initially released as a free-to-play standalone game in 2016 but was later integrated into ARK: Survival Evolved as a game mode. However, the game mode is no longer available as of the latest update of ARK: Survival Evolved in 2023.
