During the month of January, leaks surfaced showing a four-slot cooling system, presumably designed for the GeForce RTX 4090 Ti. This refrigeration system is expected to be able to handle graphics cards up to 800W of power.
Although several months have passed since then, we had no further news about this monster, and NVIDIA seems to be in no hurry, possibly due to the lack of competition in this segment of the market.
It is understandable that the manufacturer prefers to wait until a year has passed since the arrival of the GeForce RTX 4090 to assess how many AD102 chips come out with optimal performance as the manufacturing process is refined. This could lead to a graphics solution based on the AD102-450-A1 chip, with all available streaming multiprocessors, which would imply 144 SM and 18,176 SP, with 48 GB of VRAM at 24 Gbps. In contrast, the current GeForce RTX 4090 features 128 SM and 16,384 shaders, along with 24GB of VRAM running at 21Gbps.

We do not yet know if the GeForce RTX 4090 Ti will be released, if it will become an RTX TITAN (Ada Lovelace) or if it is simply a project that has been abandoned. We will know that in the coming months. However, recently new images of the huge cooling system which could be used in a version Founders Edition of this card.
As we mentioned earlier, this massive cooling system has required unconventional tweaks, such as splitting the graphics card PCB into different segments to improve cooling efficiency. Since the cooling block will occupy four slots thick, it has been implemented a smaller PCB for connectivity to the motherboardanother for the regulation and power connection area, and finally a PCB for the graphics chip and memory, which will go parallel to the motherboard, or what is the same, rotated 90 degrees with respect to conventional graphics cards .
