One of the thieves threw himself into the cat stream and was captured / on the day

Neither the best film director nor the most adventurous comics writer would have imagined it: “Aquaman” and “Flash”, two of the American superheroes who seek justice and social peace, became fearsome “villains” in La Plata .

The reason? Dangerous criminals in the City were caught in the last few hours and according to police sources told this newspaper, those involved have the same nickname as the mentioned heroes. A real irony.

In this context, they reported that “Aquaman” was captured after an unusual act of insecurity that occurred yesterday: he was persecuted by police officers from the Patrol Command after committing an illegal act in a veterinary clinic, but in desperation, he threw himself into the Del Gato stream from the bridge between 7 and 515, near the town of Ringuelet, with the aim of evading the uniformed officers.

Like in an action movie, the thief, presumed leader of the “Gang of Beavers”, tried to swim away from the Police and ended up being surrounded and detained by police officers who are now looking for the rest of the criminal group that assaulted at the local 7 between 516 and 517.

Spokesmen detailed that the thug was carrying a knife and for his capture, personnel from the Special Risks Directorate intervened, who threw themselves into the stream.

“Aquaman” did not want to give up his position and was threatening while wielding a knife. That is why the specialists proceeded with great care, while mounting a bolt to prevent him from continuing to flee. After a series of maneuvers, one of the officers managed to throw himself on top of it and reduce it.

This, with the collaboration of the rest of the experts, allowed his apprehension. “This channel is crammed with garbage of all kinds and sewage,” commented agents from the sixth police station.

After the capture, a SAME ambulance was requested where he was treated for his failed escape, and now faces charges for “theft.”

“Flash” wasn’t so fast this time

Meanwhile, the other delinquent nicknamed “Flash” posed as a customer at a pizzeria in Villa Elvira and while ordering a large four-cheese and half a dozen empanadas, he “grabbed” an employee’s cell phone and ran away.

The event occurred yesterday afternoon at the premises located at the corner of 7 and 80 bis. Shortly after the robbery, the victim confirmed through her home banking that she was allegedly missing around $270,000.

Police sources reported that “Flash” would have transferred the money from the cell phone he stole to his account through the Mercado Pago app.

With the telephone as basic evidence and the help of security cameras, agents from the eighth police station were able to find the person involved in a house in the area of 99 and 115.

The act was classified as “theft and fraud”, and the investigation was in the hands of UFI No. 8 of the La Plata Judicial Department.
