The Embassy of the United States of America in Algeria has a habit of sharing, with Algerians, exchange programs with the two countries. Indeed, in a new publication on its official page, the US diplomatic representation invites Algerians to register for a new program.

This is the Study of the United-States Institutes for Secondary School Educators and
Administrators (SUSI). The latter is intended, as its name suggests, for educators in schools and secondary schools. But also, experienced and motivated administrators. In particular, those who wish to strengthen and develop their skills in American civilization.

This program will begin in June 2023, and will span five weeks of training and exchange. Thus, participants will benefit from a combination of seminars, lectures and field trips, shared with a group of 18 teachers recruited from around the world.

How to register for the SUSI program for Algerians

The SUSI program will take place at the level of American university camps. On the other hand, to register for this program, it is important to submit your application before January 19, 2023. These candidates must meet certain criteria. In particular, mastering English, being a secondary school educator, halfway through his career. The candidate must also commit to developing courses with an American studies component.

In addition, the US Embassy specifies that candidates with dual Algerian-American nationality are not eligible for this program. To participate in this program, candidates are required to send their application files to the address: [email protected].
