The presentation of the evaluation report on the S 18 with the simultaneous presentation of an alternative variant by the Green Mobility Minister Leonore Gewessler was received with great displeasure in Switzerland.
“The federal government in Austria irritated us a lot with its report and especially with the conclusion of the evaluation,” says St. Gallen government councilor Susanne Hartmann on Friday at “Vorarlberg LIVE”.
However, the relationship with the Vorarlberg state government did not suffer. “We are in sync with that in terms of transport policy,” emphasized Hartmann. In terms of the further development of traffic planning, however, nothing has changed since Gewessler’s presentation, said Hartmann.
