Chelsea have invested 611 million euros in transfer payments for new players this season. So far, the spending spree has not paid off in sporting terms: tenth place in the Premier League, out of the cup competitions and yesterday a bitter 1-0 defeat in the Champions League round of 16 first leg against Borussia Dortmund.
The rich club from London wants to get out of the misery with other superstars. The latest target of owner Todd Boehly is apparently Neymar (31). According to ‘Le Parisien’, the American met PSG boss Nasser Al-Khelaïfi in the French capital on Tuesday.

The round of talks in a Paris hotel dealt with several topics, but above all with the possibility of a Neymar transfer in the summer – and that seems to be the case. Paris St. Germain has long been ready to give up the most expensive player in history at 222 million euros.
The cabin dispute with squad planner Luis Campos has added fuel to the fire, and PSG would also save the huge salary of 36 million euros per season. ‘Le Parisien’ name €60m for a potential move to Chelsea.
