According to the Royal Family page, it is a deep quiche with a light and crunchy puff pastry base, with “delicate flavors of spinach, lima beans and fresh tarragon“. It can be eaten hot or cold with a green salad and boiled potatoes.
A quiche is a type of tart or savory cake that is made mainly with a preparation of beaten eggs and fresh milk cream mixed with chopped vegetables.
What’s more, they not only shared what they are going to serve but also the recipe. So if the invitation to the great event just didn’t arrive, here you can find the recipe and at least eat it from afar.
But what is that Big Lunch? The Great Lunch or Big Lunch is a “celebration” that is takes place in the UK in a historic way for communities and neighbors to come together to eat and stay together.
In this case, the Great Coronation Luncheon aims to bring together neighbors and communities to celebrate the Coronation. Queen Consort Camila has been a patron of the initiative since 2013.
