AI to declare your income and optimize your declaration

Several companies are working on an artificial intelligence specialized in taxation. This is the case of the start-up Tax Mind which is developing Tax MindGPT, a chatbot capable to facilitate the online declaration of your income. Les Echos had the opportunity to try this ” assistant fiscal ” in preview. Another solution called ClimbGPT is in development within the start-up Climb.

In the case of Tax MindGPT and ClimbGPT, the chat asks you precise information on your personal situation to complete the tax return. The robot gives you the exact elements to insert even if, it must be remembered, it is better to go behind and not rely completely on artificial intelligence.

The other advantage is that these chatbots also help you reduce your tax where possible. In this regard, the leader of Climb, Aldric Emié, explains to Les Echos that “ individuals frequently make mistakes and forget certain tax reductions when declaring their income “. ClimbGPT is current as of January 2023, based on the government’s tax site, unlike ChatGPT whose information is outdated.

As for Tax Mind and its Tax MindGPT, communication about it will soon begin according to manager Pierre-Henri Janssens. The man specifies that the most important, it’s not so much that the machine responds but that it provides exact answers ».

On paper, if these solutions seem advantageous, they should be used sparingly. As specified above, completely relying on artificial intelligence is never a good thing, the human factor is important. If you turn to Tax MindGPT or ClimbGPT, don’t forget to proofread your tax return just behind to avoid possible machine errors!
