Team Ninja is currently developing its epic samurai adventure Rise of the Ronin, due for release in 2024, after recently launching Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. However, there are indications that the Japanese action developers plan to have another game ready this year.
GamingShop reports that Team Ninja president Fumihiko Yasuda had this to say about the matter in an interview with Famitsu:
“This title will be released in 2023, and we would like to release a new title in 2025. I hope to be able to tell you about that in the future when I can.”
What kind of game Yasuda is referring to remains to be seen, but Team Ninja tends to focus primarily on action-adventure, so we assume it will be something like that this time as well.
