The opposition factions of the SPD and FDP had jointly requested the meeting. A 32-year-old and his brother (25) were arrested by a special task force on Saturday a week ago and are being held in custody. According to investigators, they are said to have tried to get cyanide and ricin to murder people. The lawyer for the 32-year-old has now applied for a detention review date.

SPD and FDP want to know, among other things, why the 25-year-old was at large. He had been sentenced to seven years in prison for attempted murder, among other things, and was actually being held in a rehabilitation center. But he was allowed to stay with his brother. (dpa)
