That was the ANTENNE VORARLBERG Easter hit marathon

In addition to the top 777 favorite songs of the Vorarlbergers, there was one program highlight after the other on the Easter weekend. The moderators Sandra, Veithi, Isabella Canaval and Chiara Stark each had to face a challenge again this year – and these tasks were tough. And the absolute highlight of the Easter weekend was the Easter hit marathon party with ANTENNE VORARLBERG mega star Leony in Fischbach in Dornbirn.

This has never happened before in the country! A very special star guest came to our country exclusively for the ANTENNE VORARLBERG Easter Hit Marathon Party: the German pop singer and DSDS juror LEONY! 350 ANTENNE VORARLBERG listeners were able to enjoy a private concert by the young pop singer. With their hits like “Remedy”, “Faded Love” or “Somewhere In Between”, LEONY not only stormed the charts, but also got the mood of the guests boiling. The ticket winners enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere: they got very close to their megastar and were able to sing and dance along to the hits. The party lasted until the early hours of the morning.

“I can say one thing: if you weren’t there today, you missed one of the best parties of all time!” says ticket winner Sarah from Dornbirn. “It was awesome! The location, the music and of course experiencing LEONY live in a small circle! This night will surely be remembered by all of us!

ANTENNE VORARLBERG organized a Meet&Greet with Leony before the concert so that the kids in the Ländle also got their money’s worth. There the German singer told private things from her life, for example how she got into singing or that she never liked going to piano lessons. She then made the children’s eyes shine by spontaneously singing the hit “Remedy”.

The selfies with the idol and the autograph cards will definitely have a special place in the children’s room of the happy Meet&Greet winners.

The four moderators Sandra, Veithi, Isabella Canaval and Chiara Stark did a good job! Everyone mastered their personal challenge with flying colors this year!

At Chairas Challenge it went up high. For their task, the Dornbirn market square was quickly transformed into a climbing paradise on Saturday afternoon. The presenter had to stack 13 beer crates in 13 minutes, climb up and stretch out her hands at the top and shout the famous Titanic film quote “I am the king of the world!” across the entire market square.

The Ländle sports climbing instructors ensured the presenter’s safety. Despite the rainy weather, more than 100 listeners came to the market place and cheered for Chiara. Afterwards, all spectators were allowed to join in the beer crate climbing and were spoiled with cool drinks from the Mohren brewery.

On Easter Saturday, Veithi made the visitors of the night in costume in Hohenems romp. His task: to sing “Hulapalu” by Andreas Gabalier live in front of 4,000 people, dressed only in lederhosen.

The Volks-Rock ‘n’ Roller personally gave him courage for his performance. Gabalier said to Veithi on air: “People always throw their hands up during the refrain and everyone dances and is happy.” And that’s how it was.

For moderator Isabella it was freezingt. She had to endure 3 minutes in the Samina recovery cold chamber in Bregenz and do mental exercises.

In front of her was a board with 10 difficult terms, which she had to remember in the correct order within these 3 minutes and had to recite immediately after coming out.

Made children’s eyes shine Sandras Challenge. Many children in the Ländle missed the Easter bunny at home because they were in the hospital.

The moderators couldn’t leave it that way, so they sent Sandra disguised in an Easter bunny costume to the kids in the children’s wards in the regional hospitals in Feldkirch and Bregenz. In her luggage she had bulging Easter nests for all the little patients.
