Ciudad Juárez.- As of today, Monday, the Animal Welfare Center for the Rescue and Adoption of Municipal Pets (RAMM) began work in what used to be the Anti-Rabies Center, the Municipal Government of Juárez reported in a statement.

Said center was left in charge of the Department of Ecology, a dependency that already has operational personnel in the facilities, and that appointed Diego Poggio as head of the administrative coordination of the Center.

On the other hand, José Valenzuela Millán was in charge of the medical care of the rescued animals, it was reported.

César Díaz, head of Ecology, mentioned that the Center will dispense with euthanizing the dogs that arrive there, to the point of not accepting dogs for this purpose.

Fines will also be applied to those who abandon dogs and there will be no tour of the units collecting stray animals, since it will only be due to complaints, the official commented.

The numbers to report any case of animal abuse that you observe or are aware of can be communicated in the WhatsApp application at the telephone number 656-570-8120 and at the number 656-737-0885.
