The children’s games of the Parque de las Palapas are revived
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the most popular children’s play area in cancunit was kept closed to avoid contagion, however with the passage of time and the weather conditions of the destination this area deteriorated, so for security reasons it was kept closed, this Monday they announced its reopening.
“With the good news that we reopened the children’s games of our emblematic Parque de las Palapas,” announced Ana Paty Peralta, municipal president of Benito Juárez, who shared her image above one of the children’s games.
“This 2023 is the year of our girls and boys; together we go for more and better public spaces so that our childhood can develop in a family environment and healthy recreation“said the president.

Children’s games are once again available next to the food area of this park located in superblock 22, in the heart of the city, this area being a memorable place for children of cancunHowever, after almost three years of being closed, it will practically receive new people from Cancun.

The play area is free and at its entrance it indicates the regulations that say that it is an area for children under 1.40 in height, due to the height of the games themselves, in addition to the fact that it has spaces with carpet, Didactical gamescolorful spaces and it is a protected area with a single entrance and exit to guarantee the safety of minors.
