It has hardly passed anyone by, all the fuss that has been, and still prevails around the project The Day Before. Delays and accusations of both theft and the whole game being one big castle in the air have been voiced and the developer, Fntastic has already had to go out and try to convince the doubters that they actually exist. Especially after it suddenly disappeared from Steam, with the explanation that the trademark “The Day Before” had managed to be registered by someone else. Now they come up with an explanation for why it has been so messy. The reason must still be that the trademark was suddenly taken up, but now it is also assumed that it concerns a developer of a calendar app who registered the trademark the day before Fntastic, but they did it not only as a calendar app but also as a game, which is quite obvious isn’t and this has really caused it as it would be classed as trademark infringement if they were to use the same name.

Fntastic announces via Twitter that they have been contacted by the owner of the trademark and asked to establish a dialogue. Maybe they can come up with a solution so the game can finally be released. Now if anyone is still interested after all the controversy.
