The design of the Nothing Phone (2) is fully revealed via a render leak

With his new brand Nothing, OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei was able to draw a lot of attention to his company. It is now clear that Nothing not only offers chic or hip design, but also good hardware. Now the second smartphone can be seen.

The Nothing Phone (1) was launched last summer and you didn’t have to be a prophet to realize that a second device of this kind was planned from the start. The manufacturer announced the Nothing Phone (2) last week and showed a small part of the device in a video.

Unique design

This teaser, whose Twitter text promises the Nothing Phone (2) for the summer of this year, already shows that the basic visual language has been retained. The designer and YouTuber Ben Geskin can complete the teaser image, showing the full-size back of the device (via Gizmochina).

However, you have to look pretty closely to see the differences between the two versions. Because Nothing retains the very special look of the first release and at most only changes details. This means that there will again be the unique glowing rings and lines, in the now typical style of Nothing, parts of the case are transparent.

New specifications have also appeared for the device, which can probably be counted among the upper middle class again. Accordingly, the Nothing Phone (2) will bring a 6.55-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

It has long been known that a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor will be used under the hood. Either eight or twelve gigabytes of RAM will be available (LPDDR5), the internal memory is 128 or 256 gigabytes. Finally, a battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh is also mentioned.
