The new expansion of The Elder Scrolls Online was the other highly anticipated announcement of this Xbox_Developer_Direct and Bethesda saw things big to present this seventh major expansion which was entitled to its own conference just after. Named Necrom, the latter will immerse you in the heart of the eponymous city, along the east coast of Morrowind, in the Telvanni peninsula.

Defend the secrets of Hermaeus Mora in the Necrom expansion

This major new expansion that will mark the year 2023 of The Elder Scrolls Online introduces a new class, new areas and a new scenario that you can discover alone or with your companions.

The new Arianism class is one of the major novelties. This class will allow you to master three new skill lines: Herald of the Tome, Healing Runeforms and Apocryphal Soldier. A new system called Arcanist’s Crux is also coming. Long story short, some abilities of this class will allow you to generate Crux, a new resource that you can spend to power up other abilities. Depending on how you spend Crux, your Arcanist will play in different ways and multiple builds will be available.

This expansion will also introduce the Telvanni peninsula known for its mysterious mages as well as the great elven city Necrom. This spiritual heart of the Dark Elves returns for the first time since The Elder Scrolls: Arena released in 1994.

Each zone will therefore be entitled to its quests, its NPCs as well as its own challenges (boss, excavations, public dungeons, trials and even a brand new type of world event) with rewards and achievements to unlock.

The Necrom expansion continues the Shadow Over Morrowind adventure and story that began with the Scribes of Fate DLC. You will have to defend the kingdom of Oblivion from Hermaeus Mora and its secrets which are threatened by a mysterious enemy. Note that your discoveries and your choices made in the dungeons of the Scribes of Fate DLC will have consequences on the characters and events of the Necrom chapter.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom is coming to PC and Mac on June 5, and to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 on June 20. You can pre-order the Necrom expansion to gain access to unique launch bonuses, including the Sadrith Mora’s Sporesteed mount and the Sadrith Mora’s Sporepony pet.
