What is the Bose SoundLink Micro?
This small portable speaker from Bose adopts a compact pebble shape with ideal dimensions. It has a soft coating that offers a good grip. Robust, it also comes with a very resistant silicone strap for transport. Its size and solidity therefore lend themselves well to outdoor outings. It also meets IPX7 certification and is completely waterproof.
Sound level, the audio is balanced and of good quality, especially for such a small size. The bass is well restored and gives fullness to the entire spectrum. The balance is perfect, provided you stay in line with the enclosure. The power delivered by the SoundLink Micro is excellent, both indoors and outdoors. Its speakers with passive radiators allow clear sound, even outside.
Is this little Bose speaker on sale a good deal?
At less than €100, it’s a very good deal. The SoundLink Micro is simple to use and connects easily via Bluetooth. You’ll be able to use Siri or the Google Assistant from the speaker, as well as Amazon’s Echo Dot, to access voice commands. With Bose Connect, you can even pair several compatible Bose Bluetooth speakers. In terms of ergonomics, Bose is simple with a power button, which displays the battery level, and a Bluetooth pairing button. The slice accommodates a micro-USB port to recharge the speaker, but unfortunately, no mini-jack port.
The Bose SoundLink Micro has a battery life of just over 6 hours. A little weak autonomy which is clearly not the strong point of this microphone speaker. Finally, note the presence of a hands-free kit function that works perfectly.
