The system of powers of the National University of La Plata (UNLP) will resume its activities starting this week, as the end of January and the beginning of February arrive. With the face-to-face full already established after the stoppage due to the pandemic, will be Medicine the one that returns to the face-to-face class format after a practically virtual 2022.
In the latter, a wide call for entrants is expected since Medicine – some 7,200 entrants – turns out to be from the faculties with greater number of students of the entire UNLP, followed by Psychology and Humanities with some 3,000 registrations. It is worth remembering that the closest event is the cancellation of the qualifying admission course in 2015, which attracted thousands of students from different parts of the country.
Likewise, the start of activities is also planned for entrants in Agronomy, the Observatory, Economic Sciences, Veterinary Sciences, Exact Sciences, Law, Dentistry and Journalism. Psychology and Social Work start on February 6. Also that week, with differentiated schemes according to the career, the activity in Humanities will be launched.
While many resume this week, in Engineering and in Computer Engineering, activities began last week in the building located on 1 Avenue.
This Monday the entrance course Agronomic Engineering and Forestry Engineering is launched, they reported in the faculty of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences; Wednesday will start Astronomy with the Summer Leveling Course, in the three careers: Astronomy, Geophysics and Meteorology and Atmospheric Sciences; economic it will also do so on Wednesday with refresher workshops; Vet It will begin on the same date with 5 introductory modules to the courses linked to the subjects of the first semester: Cellular and developmental biology, Embryology and systematic anatomy, Biostatistics, Biochemistry and Biophysics; and 1 module on Human Rights; exact It also begins on February 1 with the entrance course divided into two groups; Right will have a colloquium for admission next Wednesday; Y dentistryalso Wednesday, will do daily evaluations with six-hour courses from Monday to Saturday.
