OThe last few months have been good for HBO Max subscribers, who have been able to enjoy series like ‘House of the Dragon’, ‘Euphoria’, ‘White Lotus’, ‘The Last of Us’, ‘Barry’ and ‘Succession’. However, it seems that the future also looks bright, with a wide range of new series promising hours of quality entertainment.

That’s why the BGR website decided to make a short list of the most promising series that will arrive on HBO Max in the coming months, starting right away next month with ‘The Idol’.

This series, created (and starring) by artist The Weeknd in collaboration with Sam Levinson from ‘Euphoria’ promises to delight fans of this series, telling a story with a lot of drama and lust in the mix.

Still no premiere date but confirmed for the end of 2023 is ‘True Detective: Night Country’a new season of ‘True Detective’ starring Jodie Foster as a police officer investigating the disappearance of eight people at a research station in Alaska.

‘The Sympathizer’ is another of those series with great promise from HBO Max but, unfortunately, it will have to wait until 2024. The series is based on the book of the same name by Viet Thanh Nguyen and tells the story of a spy during the last days of the war of the Vietnam. There’s Robert Downey Jr. playing multiple roles and also as an executive producer.

Finally, for 2024 the launch of ‘The Regime’, a one-year series that tells the story of a European regime in decay. It has the interpretations of Kate Winslet and Hugh Grant.
