Ciudad Juárez— After two years of being held in a hybrid or digital way, the Border Book Fair returns to Ciudad Juárez 100 percent in person, it was announced at a press conference.

Alejandra Enríquez, State Secretary of Culture, said that the event will take place from May 25 to June 4, and it will be for the first time at the Paso del Norte Cultural Center where each of its venues will be occupied.

There will be more than 350 publishing labels and more than 300 activities for all ages, completely free.

Among the activities there will be talks, conversations, workshops and book presentations among others, in addition to the fact that, through the La Rodadora interactive museum, there will be a children’s pavilion and activities for students of all levels.

Renowned writers such as Elena Poniatowska and locals, among others, will also be present. Óscar Ibañez, the governor’s representative in the Northern Zone, said that digital media will not be left out and there will be space for them.

In addition to the fact that comics will also have an important place, he stressed.

The presence of some 60,000 visitors is expected at this fair, it was indicated.
