The head of the Wagner Group responds to Putin that he is not a traitor and that he will not surrender

MOSCOW.- The head of the Wagner mercenary group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, responded today to Russian President Vladimir Putin that his men are not traitors and will not turn themselves in to the authorities.

«About that treason against the homeland, the president was deeply mistaken. we are patriots We have fought and we are fighting (…) and no one intends to surrender at the request of the president, the Federal Security Service (FSB) or whoeverPrigozhin said in a new audio posted on his Telegram channel.

He added that he and his men do not want “the country to continue living in corruption, lies and bureaucracy.”

“When we fought in Africa they didn’t say we needed Africa and then they left Africa because they stole all the aid money,” Prigozhin said.

He stressed that when the campaign in Ukraine began, the Wagners went to fight, “but it turned out that the ammunition, weapons and all the money destined for them were also stolen.”

“Instead, the officials save for their benefit, for the case that occurred today, when someone advances towards Moscow. Now they spare nothing: they attack peaceful columns with planes and helicopters », he denounced.
