The Joker's confusing (and surprising) height in the comics

The Joker is one of the most iconic characters in comics. DC.

One of the biggest characteristics about the villain is how mysterious he is, leading some details about him to be purposefully inconsistent.

However, one inconsistency is quite confusing, and perhaps not entirely intentional, at its height.

According to some encyclopedias of DCo Joker listed as a shocking 6’1″ man.

That would make it taller than Supermanwhich canonically measures 1.91 m, and which Batmanlike 1.88 m.

It turns out that, in practice, this height is not exactly what we see in most comics.

Yes, many artists portray the Joker like a tall, thin man, but far from being an individual almost 2 meters tall.

The greatest proof of this that the Batman rarely seen as lower than the Jokerin the moments in which they appear together.

This serves to remind us that certain details about comic book characters, such as height, are extremely relative, and that we shouldn’t get attached to such specific elements in a medium that is constantly changing.
