The director of the 3D CG reboot of Knights of the Zodiac, Yoshiharu Ashinocommented on his social networks about the official announcement of the 3rd season and indicated a premiere date for the new episodes.
According to the director, the second part of Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac – Battle of the Sanctuary should debut in the Spring 2024 Season in Japan (between March and June).
It is worth noting that this is just an estimate by Ashino, not an official confirmation. With the release of the teaser and poster, the Toei Animation had only informed that the premiere would take place next year.
The reboot was released byNetflixin 2019. The first season had 12 episodes and was divided into two parts. The second season was released globally onCrunchyrollem 2022.
The anime streaming service had announced Part 2 ofSaint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac Battle of the Sanctuaryduring theCCXP 2022.
