Very good surprise this week: The fifth episode of The Last of Us series has arrived earlier than expected. Logically, this new episode was to arrive like the others on the night of Sunday to Monday at home, but HBO and Warner preferred to avoid rubbing shoulders with the Super Bowl, the biggest American sporting event of the year. Faced with this behemoth, the channel has therefore opted for an early broadcast this Friday evening in the United States. In fact, the episode arrived in France last night on Amazon Prime Video.

Now that the series has laid a solid foundation and has even taken great liberties with its original story, especially with the famous episode 3, this time the events follow each other directly. Thus, Joel and Ellie continue their journey in Kansas City after their forced stop in the city. Still hunted by the revolutionary group that runs the city, our two heroes will now have to cooperate with Sam and Henry, who are also trying to flee their former comrades.
This episode therefore offers the opportunity to better understand the events that occurred in Kansas City, the origin of this group of survivors who oppose the authority of the FEDRA, as well as the past of the new acquaintances of Ellie and Joel.
