sIt will be this Friday, the 12th, that Nintendo will launch a new ‘The Legend of Zelda’ for holders of a Switch console. After the acclaimed debut game on the console in 2017, ‘The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’ is assumed as a must-have title for fans and players of the platform.
‘The Legend of Zelda’ is, along with ‘Super Mario’, one of Nintendo’s best-known sagas and also one of the oldest. The original game was released in 1986 for Nintendo’s original console – the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) – and since then it has gone through practically all the Japanese company’s consoles. Be they homemade or portable.
Having said that, and as a way of celebrating this week’s launch of ‘The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’, we decided to look back on the series and remember the main titles that have come to us over these almost 40 years.
