What is this ergonomic mouse from Logitech?
The Logitech MX Vertical has a very particular design, very far from the idea that we have of a computer mouse. Thought for office automation above all, it is designed for the comfort of the user. Its robust plastic design and its excellent grip give the impression of solidity to the whole. Once in hand, the grip is done instinctively. The position is pleasant and intuitive, and the choice of button placement, judicious. Unfortunately, this brand new ergonomics comes with a decrease in the precision of cursor movements. Before getting completely used to the MX Vertical, you will probably need some time to adapt before finding your bearings.
In terms of grip, the palm is comfortably placed on the mouse. The fingers, as well as the arm, are therefore at rest during use, thanks to its shape with an angle of 57 degrees. The wrist position is better than with a traditional mouse and allows longer use. Too bad the side buttons, present at the thumb, are not as easily accessible as on a conventional mouse. Right and left clicks are responsive and quiet. The wheel is clickable, but not disengageable. Finally, a button allows you to change the DPI level.
Is the Logitech MX Vertical on sale sale a good deal?
Less than 75 €, it’s an excellent deal, if you want a quality ergonomic mouse. The Logitech mouse glides perfectly well and the adjustable sensitivity allows for efficient use. It connects via Bluetooth and you can connect several devices to it simultaneously. A wired connection, via a USB-C cable, is also possible.
Logitech promises a battery life of four months and about 3 hours with just a minute of charging. The Logitech Options software accompanies the MX Vertical and will allow you to configure the buttons and other options. The dial, side buttons and sensitivity are adjustable to suit your use.
