The Lord of the Rings: Gollum has been in the works for a long time now, specifically since 2019 but has suffered some delays along the way. Now, however, it’s getting really close and on May 25th we finally get to tackle Gollum’s adventure. It should take 20 hours to play through, if you play relaxedly and take your time, that is, as the developers themselves recommend, otherwise you can get through the story faster.
Producers Harald Rieger:
“A relaxed playthrough of the game with exploration of the beautifully crafted environments and listening to dialogues will take around 20 hours. Avid adventure players will be able to finish the game faster but we advise everyone to take their time and breathe the air of Middle-earth.”
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will take place eight years before the events of the books and tells an entirely new story about the fish-loving ring bearer. The 25th of May is the time and it will be released for Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X and PC.
