After two days spent in Paris, King Charles III and his wife Camilla flew to Bordeaux for their third and final day of their state visit to France. After a walkabout on Place Pey-Berland, the British royal couple met the mayor of Bordeaux at the City Hall, before going to the quays of the Garonne to visit the frigate HMS Iron Duke. In the middle of the afternoon, the queen consort met members of the Le Pain de l’Amitié association, while her husband was in the Floirac experimental forest. The couple finished their visit in Bordeaux at the Château Smith Haut Lafitte wine estate before heading back to the UK.
