Not only the British royals showed up in London on Saturday afternoon. Spain’s Queen Letizia in particular attracted attention with her look.
At the coronation of King Charles III. in London, his high-ranking guests also chose special wardrobes. Among the 2,000 invited guests in Westminster Abbey were numerous representatives of other royal houses. The royal ladies mostly opted for reserved clothing in muted colors. However, one of them outshone the others with her looks.
Unlike Princess Charlène or Queen Máxima, Letizia of Spain did not come in a cream outfit, but chose a pink suit to attend the coronation. The 50-year-old wore a pink skirt paired with a matching jacket with embroidery at the collar and a peplum around the waist. Particularly striking: her hat.
Charlene of Monaco, on the other hand, chose an outfit completely in cream. Like many other royals, she opted for a monochromatic look. Máxima of the Netherlands also chose a light cream dress that reached just below the knees. The queen paired the dress with matching gloves and a pale hat. She wore nude stiletto heels and a similar colored clutch.
Norway’s Crown Princess Mette-Marit looked elegant in pale pink, wearing a monochromatic midi dress with a matching hat, gloves and stiletto pumps. Belgium’s Queen Mathilde also chose pastel pink. She combined a light hat with the midi dress. Queen Rania of Jordan chose a light yellow dress. Her long-sleeved, high-necked midi dress was paired perfectly with cream pumps. The Swedish Crown Princess Victoria was a little more colourful. She came in a royal blue dress. Mary of Denmark opted for a purple outfit by Soren Le Schmidt. The 51-year-old paired her coat dress, which fell to just below the knee length, with a purple fascinator and stiletto-heeled pumps.
