With Mother’s Day just a few days away, this is good news for those who have babies and like to take them to the parks in the five boroughs.
From today, if you must change your son or daughter’s diaper in the middle of a trip to the park, you can do it with complete comfort in the city’s public bathrooms.
The Parks Department announces that it has installed 600 diaper changing tables in public bathrooms in parks in the Big Apple.
This is an effort to standardize this service in all bathrooms managed by the agency, as they have not only been installed in women’s bathrooms, but also men’s and gender-neutral bathrooms.
The city says it was three years ahead of this goal and the announcement comes on the occasion of Mother’s Day.
