Among those present at the meeting, which was held on the 1st floor of the historic party headquarters, located at 130 Matheu street in the Balvanera neighborhood of Buenos Aires, were Agustín Rossi, Axel Kicillof, Eduardo De Pedro, Santiago Cafiero, Julio Vitobello, Victoria Tolosa Paz, Jorge Taiana, Eduardo Valdés, Juan Manuel Olmos, Andrés Rodríguez, Víctor Santa María, Guillermo Oliveri, Hugo Yasky, Fernando Navarro, Sergio Berni, and Gustavo Menéndez, while other leaders participate virtually from the Zoom platform.

The meeting was held almost two months after the deadline to present the lists of pre-candidates and after the announcement made this morning by Alberto Fernández about his decision not to run for re-election, which accelerated the negotiation process within the FdT, where the PJ continues to be the backbone of the ruling coalition.

In a video titled “My decision,” the president announced this morning that he was going to “focus” his efforts on “solving the problems of Argentines, given that “the economic context” and in particular “the most important drought in more than a century They force him to dedicate all his efforts to responding to “Argentina’s problems”.
