Around three hundred liters of fuel were seized in a procedure carried out yesterday on Usuhaia street, near the center of the city of Puerto Iguazú. The flammable material was transported irregularly in a Renault Fluence.

The procedure was carried out under circumstances in which the agents of the URV Radioelectric Command Division were carrying out motorized patrols when they spotted the vehicle and when they asked the driver to stop, it was seen that it was carrying several drums.

Given this, the troops identified the 62-year-old motorist, also found that the vehicle was loaded with a total of 12 drums, totaling 300 liters of flammable liquid (Super Nafta).

Consequently, the fuel was sequestered and the driver was issued an infraction report for irregular fuel transport, an activity that puts his life and that of third parties at risk.
