“They were notified 10 minutes before the end of the shift”, said the person in charge, who preferred to keep his name confidential. And he added: “The two hours passed and they stayed 45 more minutes and When they wanted to collect the surcharge, they became violent”. According to his account, they first attacked the maid and then the janitor who, noticing that there was no way to calm them down, called the police, who arrived quickly and tried to calm the situation without success.
“And all for 1500 pesos”lamented the manager of the hotel, referring to the amount of the surplus that the members of the trio refused to pay. “They would have said they didn’t have the money and we would save all this”, added. The bad moment experienced by the hotel employees was added to the damage caused by the members of the enraged trio, who broke down the concierge door with blows.
The hotel manager estimates that the two men and the woman would be between 30 and 40 years old and there was no evidence that they were under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
