Officially launched at the beginning of the month, the Honor 7Xa is another model from the Chinese manufacturer in the entry-level smartphone market. The least we can say, given its characteristics, is that this model is tough. The smartphone is currently on sale with the Earbuds X3 Lite on Fnac. If the smartphone initially costs 239 euros, the pack goes from 279 euros to 229 euros.
For 2023, Honor intends to conquer the entry-level smartphone market. To do this, the Chinese manufacturer is expanding its catalog with the Honor X7a. With this model, the firm starts again on the same bases of its success: good value for money, endurance and versatility. Today you can have it 50 euros cheaper in a pack with Earbuds X3 Lite.

The classic entry-level at Honor
The Honor X7a has serious competitors, including the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro and the Oppo Reno 7, in the entry-level smartphone market. To distinguish itself from it, Honor the team of the MediaTek MT6765H processor which brings Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 5. This SoC is associated with GPU PowerVR GE8320. This configuration is completed by 4 GB of RAM as well as 128 GB of storage, expandable via a microSD card. With the set, you can go about your daily business without too much difficulty.
For this smartphone, the manufacturer has chosen a 6.74-inch IPS FullView panel. If the definition is set back compared to what the competition offers, Honor makes up for it with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. This will not fail to bring fluidity during your navigations. We have a model that is 167.48 x 76.85 x 8.27 mm in size for 196 grams. You will have no trouble handling it on a daily basis.
A sober design and good finish
The Honor X7a sports a very sober design, especially with the Midnight Black version. On the back, there is a photo module with triple photo sensor. The 50MP main sensor is combined with a 5MP wide-angle and 2MP macro sensor. You’ll get decent shots with the right conditions, but you shouldn’t expect too much from a smartphone with this price positioning.
Honor has insisted on the autonomy of this model. The latter has a large 5330 mAh battery. The manufacturer announces an autonomy of 26 hours in continuous music streaming. In uninterrupted video playback, it’s around 19 hours. The fast charge is 22.5 W and in about ten minutes it recovers three hours of battery. Finally, the interface is based on Android 12 which is sure to optimize the user experience.
