But what would be the right method to achieve a perfect ending? Shyamalan thought about answering it during a recent interview aimed at promoting the fourth season of Servants.

What remains at the end of the film must tell you something about what you saw. When you close the story, you have to hand the audience the keys to how to interpret everything they’ve just seen, and I’m not just talking about the plot. I refer to the tone and narrative approach. When the edges are too blurred or you choose to delve into just one aspect, it ends up confusing because it doesn’t speak uniformly to the whole story.
After OldShyamalan returned to the camera to direct Knocking at the doorfilm based on the bestseller The Cabin at the End of the World by Paul Tremblay. Knocking at the door will lead the viewer to follow the story of a family on vacation taken hostage by four armed strangers. The latter will ask them to make an important choice that will be decisive for avoiding the apocalypse. So get ready to witness many moments of tension, in a context that will see the protagonists very limited towards access to the outside world. Will the family be able to make a decision before all is lost?
In the cast we find Dave Bautista (recently seen in Dune and star of the Marvel films Guardians of the Galaxy), Tony Award and Emmy nominee Jonathan Groff (known for Hamilton and Mindhunter), Ben Aldridge (known for working in Pennyworth and Fleabag), Rupert Grint (Harry Potter) and Abby Quinn. It will arrive in Italian cinemas in February.
