It is on April 13 that Herman Nilica meets the 19-year-old in a parking garage in Karlshamn – armed with, among other things, a machete and a knife.

According to the prosecutor, he must have planned to rob the 19-year-old, as revenge for a previous conflict between the men. During the confrontation in the parking garage, Herman Nilica is shot dead.

The 19-year-old accused of murder has admitted that he shot, but believes that he acted in self-defense. The prosecutor is asking for 16 years in prison.

Weapons crime

In addition to murder, the 19-year-old is also charged with aggravated unlawful threats and unlawful coercion, as well as aggravated weapons offences.

Two people were also charged with protecting a criminal, when they, among other things, drove the suspect from Karlshamn, bought train tickets to Copenhagen for him, and set fire to his clothes.

Herman’s parents claim 120,000 kroner in damages each, as does a female relative.
