Two families from La Plata go through hours of deep anguish and pain due to the loss of loved ones. It was due to road insecurity, this time on the routes of the Province of Buenos Aires.
The first case happened on January 1 in Ayacucho, when the doctor Pedro Billordo; his wife, María Soledad Navarro, and their little daughter. Lupe, were traveling on Route 29 aboard a Jeep truck.
In that place, at kilometer 222, for causes that are trying to be determined, they hit a truck belonging to a Brazilian company.
The asphalt strip was wet and there was water accumulated in the unevenness of the pavement.
The accident took place around three in the afternoon and due to the fact the driver of the cargo transport was identified.
This is Jean Edemir Machado, a 33-year-old Brazilian, who was precisely guiding a unit belonging to a company in that country.
The accusation against him is for the crime of “aggravated manslaughter”, in a case that was filed before the Assistant Prosecutor of Ayacucho, which belongs to the judicial department of Dolores.
Based on the data provided by the spokespersons consulted, the collision was head-on.
Upon arrival at the scene, a cell phone from the Ayacucho Community Security Police Station verified that the truck was moving in the direction of that district, while the Billordo family’s truck was heading towards General Belgrano.
Although an ambulance from the local SAME and Ayacucho Volunteer Firefighters were summoned to the scene, nothing could be done for the La Plata family.
Meanwhile, on January 10, in Laprida, a woman (Virginia Etcheverry) and her 11-year-old daughter (Pilar Besombes) died, both residing in the City.
The accident was recorded on Route 86, about 35 kilometers from that Buenos Aires city, as a result of a vehicular mistake.
In the event, another teenager suffered a fracture and the mother of the driver, some blows.
