This Twitter account had been suspended by Elon Musk a few days ago. ElonJet is back, with a new process that should allow it to escape banishment.
Jack Sweeney is not done with the landings and takeoffs of Elon Musk’s private jet. The creator of the @ElonJet account has decided to return to Twitter, just over a week after his account was suspended.
Elon Musk had decreed that this type of account violated the rules of Twitter and compromised the safety of the personalities concerned by this type of initiative. @ElonJet indeed showed each movement of the private jet of the billionaire, which therefore indicated its position in real time.
Farewell ElonJet, hello “ElonJet but delayed”
Jack Sweeney will therefore have taken a week to find the solution and return to distill the information concerning the famous private jet. The American thus created @ElonJetNextDay, a new account giving the flight information of the private jet, but with a 24-hour delay.
This allows the student to show Elon Musk’s uneconomical or ecological flights, but does not reveal his position in real time. Latest shipment: a 20-minute flight to Oakland, California that reportedly emitted 18 tons of CO2 emissions.
For the moment, the new account has only recovered 3,000 subscribers, far from its 1.5 million of yesteryear. But while waiting for the return of the Twitter account, other Internet users had taken over from Jack Sweeney. Several Reddit pages had been created in particular. The r/ElonJetTracker page now has more than 220,000 members.
