The Capitol Police have proceeded to evacuate the buildings of the United States Senatein Washington, due to the possible presence of an active shooter inside the headquarters of Congress.
The information is scarce and confusing, however, images have been disseminated on social networks that show a strong police device outside the Capitol and the flight of a large number of people with their arms raised.
Likewise, the Police have asked the people who are inside the Capitol and who have not managed to flee to seek refuge while waiting for the possible active shooter to be located.
According to the information disseminated by the Police itself on its Twitter profile, the agents have accessed the Senate buildings “in response to a worrisome 911 call».
The message continues to recommend those who are still in the building «that they seek refuge inside as a possible active shooter is reported.”
However, it is recognized that they are not in possession of information pointing to shots and that they continue to investigate.
